Smart Smart Smart

Jennifer Lopez, actress, "singer," perfume maker, designer and now....producer.

That's right, J. Lo is producing a new mini-series for Univision called La Flor Palida, a musical drama.

Here's the best part.....

It's going to feature and be inspired by all the songs on her new Spanish-language album, Como Ama Una Mujer.

That's kinda genius!

Lopez will not act in the project, but she will appear at the end of each episode, singing a song from Como Ama una Mujer.

She's getting paid AND has a big ol' infomercial for her record.

Ha!!!!

The project is shooting in Mexico city and will likely premiere in late May.

It's being directed by Leon Ichaso, who wrote and directed the upcoming Lopez-Marc Antony feature El Cantante.

Lopez's label, Sony Music's Epic, is funding the project, which will be produced via Nuyorican, the production company Lopez runs with manager Simon Fields.

Following the Univision broadcast, it's expected Sony will release La Flor Palida in the fall as part of a deluxe CD/DVD package featuring the full miniseries and an updated copy of Como Ama una Mujer.

Just another way to make more $$$$$$!!!!!
