J. Lo and Good Charlotte Fail To Catch On

Jennifer Lopez and Sony execs were less than thrilled last night when sales figures came in for her new, highly promoted Spanish-language CD, Como Ama Una Mujer.
The album, which was expected to do better in it's first week, sold a disappointing 48,000 units, coming it at #10 on the Billboard album charts this week.
NOT good news for JLo after her summer movie El Cantante is said to be so bad that it garnered boo's from audiences at The Berlin Film Festival.
Her last studio set, 2005's Rebirth, entered the album chart at #2.
On brighter news, Mika's stellar CD, Life In Cartoon Motion, had a solid first week bow in America, moving 29,000 records - good enough for a Top 30 debut.
Tim McGraw's Let It Go came in at #1, selling 325,000 copies, marking his fourth #1 album.
Good Charlotte's fourth major label album, Good Morning Revival, bows at #7Â Â with 66,000 units, which - while impressive - is considered a major disappointment.
The rock group's last record, 2004's The Chronicles of Life and Death, had a much stronger entry at  #3 with 199,000.
And, finally, this week Elton John earns his 16th top 10 album with the retrospective Rocket Man: Number Ones, which enters at #9 with 49,000 copies sold.
