Britney Spears fears that her kids might be kidnapped.

The singer’s divorce from Kevin Federline became official on Monday, July 30, and her lawyer Laura Wasser asked the Los Angeles Superior court judge to seal the child custody portion of the couple’s split.

Wasser, in a declaration to the judge, asked for this because Britney fears that if details of the specific timeshare schedule and transportation matters become public knowledge, it could put her boys Sean Preston and Jayden James at danger.

"Criminals ... might target the minor children for financial gain," TMZ quoted Wasser, as stating in the declaration.

Wasser also states that if made public, the media would have "a greater ability to ascertain the physical whereabouts of the minor children."

"Such information greatly increases the chances that the actions of the media could threaten the safety of the minor children by, for example, causing a traffic accident or by exposing the minor children to criminals who might target the minor children for financial gain," she stated.

The judge granted Wasser's motion to seal the custody documents temporarily, pending a full hearing on Aug. 14. He also agreed to keep the child support provisions under wraps.

Pop star Britney Spears, who was reportedly in talks with magazine Vanity Fair to pose naked for the cover photo, is reconsidering her decision. According to sources, Britney wants to do it right – a real dare bare exposure that will stage her fantastic comeback. Britney's representatives have confirmed that she for now will appear fully clothed on the October issue of the magazine. She will go for big bang at the right time.

Britney, who is due to give birth later this year, has also contacted her record label, Jive Records, to discuss recording a new album, in order to stage a comeback, reports Fox News.

HOLLYWOOD - Britney Spears caused chaos in Santa Monica, California, yesterday in what appeared to be a desperate attempt to get a little paparazzi attention.

Photographers camped outside celebrity hotspot the Casa Del Mar hotel, hoping for the chance to shoot Britney's onetime pop rival Mandy Moore--who was conducting press interviews inside--were stunned when the "Toxic" singer slowly drove by.

One bystander says, "It seemed obvious that Britney wanted to get noticed and photographed--why else would you show up at one of California's paparazzi hangouts.

"She drove really slowly and doubled back on herself to make sure that everyone who wanted to get a shot, got a shot."

But Britney's afternoon out turned ugly when her security guard, who was with her for the drive, had to fight off one snapper who got too close to his charge.

The onlooker says, "Britney had to make a run for it in the end. She and her bodyguard ended up hanging out by the hotel pool--in full view of everyone."

Britney Spears to 'tell-all' for 10 million dollars

Even as pop star Britney Spears recently announced her intention of coming out with a tell-all book, publishers have apparently lined up to bid on the rights, which are likely to sell for as much as 10 million dollars, if the project actually survives.

Spears will reportedly disclose some shocking and unpleasant information about the people who did her wrong in her upcoming tell-all tome.

According to Star Magazine, the ‘Toxic’ singer will look into topics such as how life with Kevin Federline nearly forced her to commit suicide.

"His womanizing, his wild spending, the verbal abuse he hurled at her when he thought their marriage was coming to an end. Britney will say he deliberately tried to drive her crazy,” e!Online quoted an unnamed source, as telling the mag.

"She feels Kevin just pretended to love her for the money and a music career. When that sunk in, she was so heartbroken that she wanted to kill herself,” the source added.

The same source also added that Spears would talk about her certainty that her mother, Lynne, is responsible for most of her problems.

"Britney will call her a 'stage mom from hell' and blame her for almost every ill in her life," the source told the magazine. "She'll say Lynne's money hungry and that she was just along for the free ride. Britney thinks of her as a meddling, smothering person and blames her for her messy marriages,” the source said.

Britney’s dad Jamie will also be slammed in the autobiographical account following his recent public war of words with his daughter. Meanwhile, according to the New York Post, Vanity Fair and Allure are trying their best to secure the first post-meltdown interview with the "Oops" singer.

"We would love to have Britney, but nothing is scheduled yet," an Allure rep told the paper, while Vanity Fair refused to comment.
